Evidence of GSB approved coating, must be submitted in the form of the relevant licence numbers applicable to both coaters and coating materials.

Quality Standard of Powder Coating

Pre-treatment:
The pre-treatment process is followed in accordance with DIN EN ISO 3892 or DIN 50939 supported by the current latest edition of the GSB Quality Regulations and any alternative pre-treatment methods approved therein.

Coating:
The Coating process is followed exclusively in accordance with the GSB Quality Regulations, whereby evidence must be supplied that both the coater and coating material supplier hold a valid GSB International Licence.

For projects that require the highest standards of color consistency it is imperative that the same formula as specified by the coating material supplier is used for all relevant building components.  To further avoid any deficiencies in the uniformity of the color, all objects should be treated in sequence by the same coater.
